Students were required to watch the Earth 2007 documentary, and come up with a nature journal. Students had to come up with an introduction which consisted of a cover page, a bit about themselves and their overall feelings about the documentary. Followed by a section called "Understanding nature", where students had to describe the importance of nature towards human life, pick 2 types of flora, fauna, nature settings and nature phenomena. Finally, students were to pick and justify their favourite scene from the documentary, list one environmental issue mentioned in the documentary, their perspective on nature after watching the documentary and their references which were all categorised under "Appreciating nature".
