Reflection

Design communication was one the more likeable modules. As there is often no right or wrong, we could just let our imagine run wild. From the weekly tutorial activities to our assignments, we were allowed to do how we please as long as it was related to the brief. The lecturers and tutors were kind and helpful when asked for assistance and always took the time to help my classmates and I. The module coordinator is responsible and very responsive on teams as well.

For most of the design communication module this semester, it was online. In my opinion, it was a good thing. Personally i like to work at home as there are less distractions such as friends or not having a comfortable space to work in. Therefore, design communication being online allowed me to have a bit more freedom as I could do my work right after class and not have to deal with transportation/ other issues. That being said I would feel differently if all the modules were online as then we won't be able to see our classmates and lecturers at all. A balanced hybrid class is ideal in my opinion.
