Assignment 3

In the final assignment, it was split into 3 parts. The first task was the large Group Task: Site data collection (Macro Site). Students were assigned to a group to do specific research and data collection depending on the category. In the second part, students were required to produce design vignettes and site use alternative diagrams based on the macro site data collection and how the structure responds to the site. Finally, students were required to design a Tropical Wildlife Discovery Unit at Bukit Jalil Recreational Park. Students were to produce a structure within the built-up space of maximum 100sqm and be able to accommodate 2 people, including the respective student and a discovery partner comfortably in a short spend of time (2-3 days). Floor plans, sections, elevations and other necessary drawings were required as well.
