In a group of six to seven, students are required to choose an indoor space that measures approximately 10m x 6m to apply the Lumen Method calculation to design the general lighting layout. Students were to choose a type of space given from a list. Once a space has been decided on, students had to provide generous information about the chosen space such as the building background, overall floor layout, floor plan, reflected ceiling plan and sections. Similarly to assignment 1, students were to propose a revised design alternative. Students were to show the new proposed layout of lighting through a revised ceiling plan as well as sketches of proposed other types of lighting. All findings were to be compiled in 2 A2 boards.
