Structure and body

The task of this assignment was to build a bamboo structure for university students which was to be located at the university square. The structure was to be designed with ergonomics and anthropometrics in mind,

The outcome of this assignment was possible due to the hard work of al our team members. From starting to brainstorm to tying the final pieces of bamboo sticks together. The structure is meant for one to lounge and relax in. If wanted to, one could just use the structure itself to lean on while waiting for a friend. It is also meant for watching the sunset as the given site is directly facing the sunset in the evening. Which was carefully thought out by our team.

As this was a group project, it forced all of us to communicate with one another. This was the first group project in this semester therefore making everybody closer. The construction of the bamboo structure was a very unique experience as it was probably the first time many of us got to do hands on building especially of that size. It was overall a very fun assignment and taught us valuable lessons.
